    Question

Is anyone using this format and K25 and what do you think? With K25 dissappearing, I guess now is the time to order what is left and freeze it. I personally would just shoot 16mm in B/W as cost isn't so high but I can't afford Kodachrome in 16mm. How much are 100 ft rolls of Dble S8 and who sells it in the states.

In the states you can get film from Cameras Pro and Chambless Cine Equipment

Cameras Pro charges $85 for a 100 ft reel (color reversal) and that includes processing. The catch is that they only sell batches of 5 reels.

Chambless charges about $9 for a 25 ft reel (B&W reversal) w/o processing.

The double super8 format fascinates but this lack of options in film is what scares me away from the format.

Kodak tells me that they can off double super8 with any emulsion that is available in 16mm, BUT you have to agree to buy the entire run. I did not bother to ask how much that was.
